Darjeeling2

This is our first batch using only DavidsTea loose-leaf. We used 15 grams of Second Flush Darjeeling in 3 hand-filled tea bags. We’re excited about moving to DavidsTea loose leaf and believe it will make our kombucha taste even better.

We bottled this on 9/11 flavored with 1/4 strawberry puree and a tbsp of sugar. We usually let our strawberry ferment three more days in bottles before refrigeration but this time we’re going to cut it to two for a couple of bottles to further reduce explosiveness.

We refrigerated this at 1:30 pm on 9/14
